Meaningful dream or Merry Christmas!

I had a funny incident recently. During our small family Christmas Eve celebration, my mother-in-law casually mentioned that recalling our dreams that night might increase the likelihood of them coming true due to the occasion.

Of course, we chuckled and promptly forgot about it.

The next day, during our usual morning coffee, my spouse recounted a dream. This reminded me of my own dream from the previous night, which felt surprisingly vivid and lifelike.

Some context: I work in an industrial technology company overseeing global sales, focusing on automating workwear management cycles for large organizations.

One of our significant projects involved automating the workwear system at the Tesla plant in Germany. We successfully piloted the project and felt confident about securing the entire job. However, upper management's decision to personalize Tesla workwear for sixteen thousand workers, with clean sets individually placed in lockers daily, resulted in increased manpower, more washings, and higher clothing inventory on-site—an unsustainable process, especially unexpected from Tesla. I was truly frustrated, feeling the decision-makers didn't grasp the full implications.

Now, back to my dream. In it, I did what I probably should do in real life: I wrote to the company owner, Mr. Mask, hoping to influence this decision. Surprisingly, Mr. Mask responded promptly and granted us an opportunity to discuss matters with the decision-makers.

However, the most significant part of the dream was Mr. Mask's appreciation for my boldness and refusal to accept 'No' as an answer. He offered me a position on his management team, presenting a concrete offer to oversee one of his strategic projects in the USA, Germany, or Switzerland (funny, that I can recall the places exactly). That's where my dream abruptly ended.

What was even more surprising than the dream itself was my life partner's reaction: "You should write to Mr. Mask; he's quite active on Twitter."

Reflecting on these events, I concluded that there was no reason not to give it a try. So, I'm hopeful that in my next post, I'll be able to share the outcome of my Christmas dream.
